I have had the pleasure and the privilege of talking with thousands of parents about every possible topic concerned with educating young people during my 30-year career as a teacher and a Leader in schools. I have always helped and supported parents to understand schools and how they work so that they could get the very best for their child's education.
Now I share that expertise with parents through my company 11to18. With my deep inside knowledge of school systems and policies, I regularly help parents to navigate problems effectively. Parents find that I am patient and easy to talk to, with the ability to quickly understand the nature of a situation and rapidly reach a resolution.
I also provide a tutoring and mentoring service to children aged 11 to 18. Parents appreciate that professional support will benefit their child and thus source this outside school. Now parents are finding that they need help in ensuring that their child's tutor(s) is working effectively with their child. This role complements my former post as a leading secondary school Principal.
